Afternoon Pick-Up: Begin your adventure with a convenient pick-up around 2:30pm from your chosen location. Enjoy a comfortable ride as you start your journey across the island.
Saddle Road Journey: Travel over the scenic Saddle Road, offering stunning views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Take a brief stop at Gilbert Kahele Recreational Area for a restroom break and to stretch your legs.
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park: At Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, begin your exploration with a visit to the Volcano House or Visitor's Center for a quick restroom and souvenir break. Marvel at the expansive views from Kilauea Iki Overlook, experience the steam vents' geothermal activity, and take a guided walk along a crater's edge to get to Thurston Lava Tube. Is transportation included in the tour?

Yes, transportation is included. We offer pick-up and drop-off services from most hotels on the West side of Hawaii Island, Kona Airport, and four central meeting points. If your location isn’t listed, please contact us to confirm your pick-up location before booking your tour.

Is this tour wheelchair accessible?

Guests with specific health concerns or mobility issues should inform us in advance to ensure we can accommodate their needs effectively.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, closed toed shoes and bringing a hat, rain jacket, reusable water bottle, camera, snacks, and any other personal items you may need.

If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, please inform us at the time of booking or as soon as possible. 48 hours prior to your tour date is required. We strive to accommodate our guests' needs to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

What is the cancellation policy for the tour?

Our cancellation policy requires notice at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour will not be refunded.

Are meals and refreshments provided during the tour?

Yes, a picnic dinner and dessert are included, along with bottled water and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages.

How can I confirm my booking and pick-up time?

We will confirm your booking details and assigned pick-up time at least 24 hours prior to your tour. If we have not made contact or you are still unsure of your booking details please contact us directly at reservations@wayfindhawaii.com.

Is the tour suitable for children and families?

Yes, this tour is family-friendly. However, parents should assess their child’s ability to participate comfortably, as the tour involves walking on uneven terrain and a considerable amount of time driving.

Is there a restroom available during the tour?

Yes, there are restroom stops available at every stop on this tour. Restrooms are not available in the vehicle.

What happens if I miss my pick-up time?

If you miss your pick-up time, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate you, but please note that this will delay the tour from proceeding on schedule and you will not be issued a refund for activities missed due to this delay. We ask that you confirm your pick-up times at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled tour and arrive at least 15 minutes early to your pick-up location the morning of your tour.

Can I charge my devices on tour?

Our vehicles are equipped with charging ports for your convenience, but we recommend bringing a charging cable and/or a portable charger as well.
